TITLES
In 1985, Navabharat Art Theatres of Hyderabad felicitated Sudha Rani and awarded her with the title of "Nritya Mayuri". The award was presented by Small Scale Industries Minister, Mr. S.Ramachandra Reddy and Member of Parliament Mr. Ayyapu Reddy.
In 1986, Andhra Natyam Peetham of Vijaywada awarded Sudha Rani with the title of "Nritya Choodamani" and honored her with a gold medal.
In 1996, Aaradhana Art Theatres felicitated Sudha Rani and awarded her the title of "Natya Rani". The award was presented by Swathi Somnath, an accomplished dancer.
In 1996, Journalists Association awarded Sudha with the title of "Lasyasudha" at Press Club, Hyderabad.
In 1996, Sudha was awarded "Nandamuri Taraka Rama Rao Smaraka Award" by Manoranjani Cine Sahiti Kala Awards. The award was presented by Mr. Tanikella Bharani, Write and Famous Film Actor.
AWARDS
Sudha stood State First in Andhra Pradesh State Dance Competitions for which she won rolling shield continuosly for three years besides a special prize for herself. This competition was conducted by UN Council of Andhra Pradesh.
Sudha won the Bronze Medal in the AP Film Talents Academy Competitions held at Vijaywada, Tummalapalli Kalakshetram.
Sudha won the Silver Medal in the Inter University South Zone Youth Festival conducted at Visakhapatnam in 1995.
Sudha won the Gold Shield in the All India Inter Universities Competition (Ghoomar 95) held at the University of Rajasthan, Jaipur. She stood first in the order of merit among the 47 Universities which participated in this competition.
SCHOLARSHIPS
The prestigious Central Sangeet Natak Academy awarded her with a scholarship in "Kshetrayya Padams". Sudha worked with the famous writer Mr. Arudra and Guru Nataraja Ramakrishna.
The prestigious Central Sangeet Natak Academy awarded her with a scholarship in "Choreography and Teaching Methodology".
The Ministry of Human Resource, Government of India, New Delhi, awarded her with a grant for performing at Ancient Temples like Kalahasti and Bhadrachalam.
Potti Sriramulu Telugu University, Hyderabad, awarded Sudha with a scholarship on "Adhyatma Ramayanam". This was awarded by the Vice Chancellor of Telugu University, Mr. Tumati Dhonappa.
